After a new set of reels. After 4 years of scopes i'm now moving onto bigger lakes again and getting some 12 footers again. What's out there for around £150 a reel that you'd recommend? Have got some ci4 5500 xtc that i had on my scopes which i toyed with the idea of using, but to be honest I don't really like them, the drag is just way too quick 1/4 from free spool to full lock.

If you like your current reels apart from the quick drag it may be as simple as changing the front cap. I did this with my Ci4 XTB's, I didn't like the baitrunner cap.

Change the harderwhite ptfe washers in the spools for the grease felt ones that come in the ultegra xtd spools that will slow the clutch down
