I know he was definitely a marmite character, but the poor ole guy passed away recently after a battle with the dreaded C!

He did quite alot for angling.

A real character,
Once met never forgotten that's for sure, but for the most part a reasonable chap, seems an eon ago since I heard anything about Joe.

That is sad news
He was very passionate about the fishery
I really enjoyed my time there, and the stories we shared
My thoughts go out to his family
