Hello Chaps... I'm looking for a flask for day sessions or overnighters. Need it to keep stuff hot and cold. Been looking at the Yeti Rambler. Anyone have one and can recommend .? If not what do you recommend.?

Stanley flasks used to be the daddy when they were USA made

Purchased a Thermos flask just after Xmas for work purposes and as long as you don't add milk in the flask it's still hot after 20hrs use.
I think it holds 1 ltr and was about £50 but perfect for day sessions or over nighters

Thermos for me. I have a Mondial.
Don't put milk in your tea or coffee and it will last at least 10hours, the length of my winter pike trips.
I rarely use a flask in summer so don't know how long it actually will keep a drink warm all day.

I've got one of the Chillys Food Pots I use for work to keep soup etc warm, it's perfect for that and I use it to keep iced coffee cold for the summer time.
They do two different sizes.

Make sure its a metal lined flask not a glass.

I have had a few flasks over the years, currently using a metal one that I picked up from Sainsbury's a few years ago now and it has been reliable. Whatever you buy the biggest tip I was ever given was fill the flask with boiling water and leave it for 5 minutes, empty it out and then make your brew, the heat dissipates through the internal section and cools it off otherwise
Another one, take the milk separate, you get more brew and it stops cooling it down
You won't go wrong with a thermos for me

Think I have about 5 different yeti mugs and flasks and also use there cool boxes and they are superb, Ive found nothing else that can match them. Yes they are quite expensive but they will out live you. I have a bit of a yeti fetish 😀 The mag slider lids on the yeti mugs is by far the best design out there.

I bit the bullet and ordered two yeti products , a mug and a flask. Had previous bad luck with thermos so my choices were yeti or Stanley.

Looked up chillys food flask I was surprised it only keeps food hot for 6 hours thermos king is 9 hours
