Hi All,

I need to source some PVA mesh with larger hex or similar holes to thread the hooklink and putty through more easily.

Most PVA mesh is a micro mesh so ideal for smaller food items, but has anyone used a mesh with much bigger diameter holes please?

Could you not just make a small hole in the mesh

I could but that's my last resort, Ideally I don't want to cut a hole that may weaken the strength of the bag on a big chuck. So if I can find a bigger mesh variety I'd rather do that.

The only one I can think of is Korda,I normally just make a hole with one of the ESP gizmo rig tools.I have never had an issue

Just use scissors to trim a small hole .. won't affect the strength.
If you're against that , as mentioned above the korda (long chuck - not used their other pva) have wider holes.

Doesn't the fill of the bag move the putty more than the mesh ever would?
I'd use shot instead of putty and wet this before pulling home matey

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't it the contents of the mesh bag that restricts you from threading your hooklink through rather than the size of the mesh , I make mine with really fine boilie crumb at one end and nick to hook into that side
