Just picked one ot these up, £149 seemed an absolute bargain. But upon the first set up, I was ready to bounce it off someone's head. Those absolutely stupid little poles at the back, is there an easy way to put them in, they are WAY too tight on mine, does it get easier? I was annoyed to realise you can't just leave them in when packing it away too. Amd the stupid storm poles that you screw in, but have to be pointing a certain direction, so you can't actually tighten them up. If I had bothered to do any research into how to put one up I wouldnt have bothered.

Tbh I bought this brolly was told it was a 55 ends up it's a 60 it's had rave reviews the little poles are a pain and your right you have to not tighten the poles as there facing the wrong way
But the worse thing it's taking it down there's already a thread about it read it solar brolly button your see what others say I am not that impressed with it tbh
And there's has got to be a reason at Easter it was at nearly half price £135 at the end of the day it's another cheap brolly to me nothing special

I bought the thing after reading rave reviews on here. It's complete junk, I didn't realise the Button to close it was an issue with everyone else too, took me ages to get it closed I just assumed I was doing something wrong. How anyone would think this brolly was good is beyond me. Avoid, even for the price.

You read the thread it's a right pain to get it down I struggled the other day for ages trying to collapse it and I can't get the small poles to fit flush so you can't roll it up tight it's almost a quarter open

You leave both the little poles and the storm poles attached when packing down, it really does reduce the faff in the set up and pack down processes

I brought mine off the reviews, it's a good brolly with plenty of room but I did prefer my previous Wychwood tactical brolly

THEY ARE MEANT TO STAY IN ALL THE TIME !!! maybe read the instructions
and simply fold in for packing up and for setting up they swing down easy peasy and I have only put mine up and down 3 times in the garden and its been so easy ?
not had any trouble with the button maybe its a knack ?
there are a few members on here that have been using one for a few seasons with none of the issues

The small poles at the back are so tight, I had to bend them to fit them. I tried to put it down with them still in and they wouldn't fold over, the material is too tight. I'm guessing there are some differences between different peoples brollies, as the stitching on mine all looks a bit wonky.
I'll give it a couple of sessions to see how I get on, but I'm not impressed so far. It should have come with quick release fittings for the storm poles, the fact you can't tighten them up is really janky.

There is definitely a problem with the button there was 5 people on another thread say they had problems with it like you I just don't understand why it had good reviews

Mine didn't either no instructions wondering did they buy up all the rejects and returns and sell off cheap

No issues with the poles on mine, the little back ones have stayed on since day one. The front ones don't need to be screwed up tight, once the peak pole is connected, that prevents them from moving.

Cheers, my rear poles won't fold in like his does. Hopefully after a bit of use it they will. Does beg the question though. If they can stay fitted, why aren't they fitted in the factory?
Glad to see storm poles can be left on. That would make life a lot easier.
