Hi, recently took the plunge (no pun intended) and purchased a aeropress go . I don't plan on grinding my own beans , i feel that would be too much hassle when fishing . I'm interested to know which coffee grinds people are using and recommend ?
I don't feel Iv got it quite right yet. Tried some Starbucks coffee grinds but I'm not sure the texture was right for the aeropress

I've been using the aeropress on the bank now for a few years now and find most ground coffee works, I use the paper filters and the inverted preparation method, pour on the water, stir and leave it for about 4 minutes, hey presto lovely coffee.

I order from a company called PACT coffee. They do grinds specifically for the aeropress. You can buy one off or pay monthly etc. Check them out

I get my coffee from a great independent roastery called Round Hill Roastery, they'll grind the coffee to match whatever way your brewing it.

I also use the inverted method to brew with aeropress. Much better way of using it.

Organic Cafe Direct Fairtrade Mayan or Picchu is nice, beans or grounded are available. Both from Tesco.
I was told to look for Organic as coffee beans are one of the most sprayed crops in the world.
The Mycotoxin Free coffee is the purist but very costly and not something I've used.

Buying direct from a roaster is going to make a significant difference. Means the coffee has been roasted recently rather than sat on a shelf and great flavour. Then just a case of finding one you like.
Personally I opt for an espresso coffee and as others have said often they do an aeropress grind. The finer espresso/aeropress grind gives a better coffee in my opinion in an aeropress.

Gives it time to really turn water into something lovely, no dripping, fantastic results every time, even gives great result if you've got fairly coarse grinds.

Search aeropress inverted method on YouTube. You will seen that's its the best way to use the aeropress. You don't lose any water through the filter when brewing which makes for a better brewed coffee.

I've tried a few roasters, thecoffeemod has been by far and away the best quality and service
