Hi All,

I have been using leadcore for years but feel like giving the leadfree stuff a try after plenty of people raving about it. What is the best one on the market? Easiest to splice, sinks the best, ect?

Gardner camflex is good easy to splice and quite heavy I have also started using PB silkray a bit finer than the Camflex but still easy to splice

Another vote for Nash cling on, easy to splice

avid pindown for me,lovely and supple,splices well but sinks like a brick

Been using the fox submerge for years, in fact I've been using the same leaders for over 2 years. Found it great. Sinks great, very supple, durable and pretty easy to splice. I use the fox easy splice tool (twisted wire as opposed to a traditional latched needle).

What do you guys do to prevent slippage? Not when playing a fish, then it is solid, but more when you are trying to change a swivel, fiddling with the loop for me it tends to slip since the pressure is then off the splice. Dab of superglue looks and smells nasty

Other than that great stuff.

I've never done anything. Never had that issue.

Superglue the splices. They do go in time. I do blob end of splice as i pull it back in for more security.

I did use tha camflex ready made leaders.......but I had two loops pull apart,have now binned em,😡

I don't own that many nash bits but they're cling on leader in silt is brilliant, absolutely zero issues with it over a couple of seasons use
