Hi all,

I know there has been a couple of torch / laser threads recently, but all the products mentioned on there dont seem to work on Swans. Do any of you know of a similar product that will deter swans?

The lazer and tufty torch I have make no impression on Swans ,if there in the margins shake your landing net at them ,if the water is that shallow I've had to move the baited hook until they bugger off ...there a right pain

I found it best to dont drop crap on the floor or in the margins and don't feed them and they tend to go away

I totally agree, Royal birds but they only have a small brain, I find the only way to get them away from your rods is to pick up your landing net and walk sharply towards them, you get Geese, Moorhens and Coots swimming around your lines but Swans go through them, often picking up all your lines, absolute pain in the arse

Rip up a wet teabag,and deposit said tea on Swan and they quickly f$#k off somewhere quiet to preen themselves.
