A query,has the implementation of these filters and 15 miniute zones affected your fishing plans...?

Not for me, it's had about as much impact as the park&ride system did.. which is none at all.

All areas of Oxford can be accessed at all times, mainly by the ring road instead of non-major roads. It's just if you take the 'wrong' route you can get a fine.

There isn't much fishing in the areas affected anyway, most of the lakes aren't near the affected areas and Oxford City centre has always been best avoided in a car at busy times anyway, hence the park&ride system which has been in place for a long time.

It's an obvious cash grab money making scheme and abhorrent, but it's impact on fishing is close to zero imo... Unless you live in town and try to get out, at which point you can get a residents permit allowing 100 days of unrestricted travel through all barriers for the day.

James has hit the nail on the head mate. Doesn't effect any fishing at all.

I go in and out of Oxford all the time, can get to most of the city centre without going through 'the zone' :-)
