Does anyone know if the Shimano Technium Line is the same as the old Technium Black Line that was discontinued a few years ago?

I spooled up with some of the newer stuff the season before last - it felt the same as the old stuff to me but several people have reported it being far inferior.
I switched over to CM90 but not really a fan so may switch back to the technium.

CM90 is great line! I think the technium is a bit more stretchy than the old black. I like it though.

I agree the cm90 is not good at all,Berkley have discontinued it now.The old Technium black used to get rave reviews,not sure why they needed to change it

I'm so glad i rinsed angling direct of the original. I think I've got 10 seasons worth still.
I have been able to compare the old and new, and the new is definitely different. It isn't quite as supple and feels a bit more stretchy

I have to say I use to love the old line wouldn't use anything else, I got the new one when it was changed it's still great line but definitely different, I started using synchro xt after the change

out of curiosity I emailed pure fishing, they told me CM-90 is not being discontinued, but it will be sold under a different brand. They didn't tell me any more info than that though
