Decided to change back to a fish meal bait for warmer months rather than an all year round option and after a bit of research I have narrowed it down to two, Carp company Ice Red which I used to use or baitworks Royal Marine which I really like the look of but know nothing about.
Does anyone have any feedback on this one?

Both good baits, but have a look at this thread with 22 posts from last month.

Another good fishmeal to consider is the malarkey from ABS

Worth noting Royal Marine isn't actually a fishmeal. It contains krill and various crustacean extracts but nothing in the way of fishmeal.

I spent most of my bait budget buying Atlantic Heat and Royal Marine last year and I really struggled on both and sold most of it by middle June. I was surprised as it looks and smells amazing, it just didn't do much for me. Probably the waters that I fish as these baits have a good track record. Back to single wafters and pellets this year for me.
