Looks like these new Aiircurve models are on a new blank according to the Greys sales blurb, where the older Aircurve and Mk2 versions were on the same blank.

Does anyone have the new model or had a chance to test one out?

I'm looking at the 12ft in 3.25lb or 3.5lb and wondered how they cast compared to the original and Mk2 models.

Ahh no sorry you're right, there is just the mk2s

Some websites are calling them aiircurve without the mk2 for some reason like TFT

If it's any use, I have 12' 3.25 and can comfortably do 100 yds and I'm no huge caster , play fish lovely .... I like em 👍

Hi yes bit confusing, this might help as got myself in a mess with ordering off eBay...

Mk1 Aircurve, Mk2 Aiircurve. The mk2 have grey reel seat fittings and 3 leg minima guides at the tip the mk 1 is silver with 2 leg guides for the last few on the tip.

The blank is the same just different furniture as I believe someone else on here said...
