Opinions on 13ft rod choices under £400 for 3
Don't want to spend any more as they're going to be hammered for a season or 2 doing long range work weekly ( 160+ ) If anything was to happen I can just order another and not worry about spending another £300 + on a rod

got to be tx2 for the money, proven rod,Terry edmonds told me about them and wasn't sponsored by shimano at the time. cheap but more than up to the job

I'd just buy 3 half decent spod rods. Will cast bigger weights, further and likely hood is they won't break. I've come to this conclusion myself, I build rods and have had access to most, but when buying a pokey fishing rod your likely going to pay a premium for it, they don't have much of a fish playing action anyway. The older style free spirit lrs spod rod (not spomb) are a bit tippy, easy to compress and can put a lead a long way.

I picked up and had a play with the 13fr 3.5lb TC SU Free spirit helicals in the Tackle box.
I think it is a Fantastic rod for the money, a fairly progressive action, not too pokey, but you can feel the potential

Think they're my 2 main choices really. Tx2 is a proven rod and the helical looks a good rod

If you get the ones from Spod on here they will be immaculate,I had two 10ft Torrix from him and they were like new
