I don't want this to get into a bite alarm debate.
I use to own the TXI+ and 2 out of 3 alarms failed on a French session, Delkim were brilliant and replaced both alarms.
I then swapped them for the Fox MXR+ which have finally given up the ghost.
I'm now going to buy new/second hand alarms, I'm getting Delius in just wondering if the TXD are a massive upgrade on the TXI+ both seem to be similar prices on snakebook marketplace.

Wouldnt say a massive upgrade, but they are better. Im sure if you bought the txi+, after a while youd be wishing youd got the Ds. Not sure it would work the other way round
Few peoples mates reckon they are rubbish, but i wouldnt listen to them. Ive had mine since release, and theyve been out in torrential rain, for up to a week long seasion, and not missed a beat

I preferred the txi, i upgraded to txd and had problems in the rain, then the receiver just stopped working, I also didn't like the design of the controls, much preferred the txi.
Probably best to go to a good tackle shop and play with them, if you like then buy them. Delkik customer support is good, so if you have any issues I'm sure they'd sort you out.

I'd get the D's with confidence. I have a set in green and they've been out in some pretty horrendous weather without any issue. I dare say there are some D's that have faults but Delkim are pretty fast at sorting these out. I had the Pluses before the D's and I really liked those and they never let me down once.
My D's are actually my second set of alarms and my Fox NTXR's see more time on the bank and I just love those, but I've always owned a set of Delks and I reckon they are the best they have produced to date IMO.

I ditched my 20yr old plus RX Digitals that never missed a beat for TXI Ds and don't massively regret it - have a couple of sets and find they all work as expected; can be a little oversensitive on buzz bars but nothing that a setting change won't sort. Also have the new EV Ds on my barbel set up - compact, sensitive and convenient with the integrated snag ears

Had TXI's for 10 years without a problem including the receiver, unfortunately my TXD's have been terrible, constantly going wrong in the rain 🤷♂️. Would personally stick with the TXI's now if I had the choice.

I would just get the txi-ds if you get the txi your just want to get them, I agree don't listen to most people who moan have never even had them. I've had my set since the day they came out and never had a problem, been out for week longs sessions in torrential rain and still good as new

After years of using my Delkim ST's with Att receiver and dongles I bit the bullet and bought the TXd's and Rx-D receiver last August, not as a set as I wanted red, white and green.
No problems with them in the rain, it just took a while to get used to the sensitivity dial. No problem to change it mid session if the wind and waves make it a bit bleepy, it's just not quite so easy to leave it as it was on the ST's knowing it would be right.
I wouldn't swap them for anything else.
Personally I think most people who have problems with them don't read instructions or watch Delkim videos. I can be equally as guilty of that, trying to work it out myself, but once explained via video, a whole lot easier to understand.
