After reading some of the recommendations in other threads about lakes with accommodation and a pool I took the plunge and booked this for a holiday with my two sons

Not been able to find much about the actual fishing itself so wondered if anyone that's fished it has any advice on tactics that have worked well in the past?

Adrian the owner is very helpful.

I fished it a few years back and a quick text from him with some hints put me on the fish and I was getting 2 or 3 runs a night (I spent the day in the pool with the family or out site seeing)

I can highly recommend the house + fishing

I see that venue has had a new lake record common and more recently their first 50+ mirror out recently

Well we had a great week with my two sons

47 fish for the week fishing mainly 4 hours in the morning and a couple of hours early evening

Nothing big but we had 12 30s and the rest were 20s

House and pool were great and our hosts were excellent

Highly recommended for a family holiday and we will be booking again

I think I followed you - from 19th to 26th.

I had 52 fish despite the crazy heat (35+ for several days). On the Thursday I had an unbelievable morning landing Mirrors of 48.03, 34.10, 31.12, 29.04 and Commons of 39.07, 35.08, 28.04, 27.08, just before a storm rolled in.

Ended up with 2 x 48's, 14 x 30's, 25 x 20's.

House, Pool & Hosts amazing and day trips to the market, Sancerre, Auxerre, local castles and parks broke up the time and kept everyone happy.

Awesome.

It's a fantastic venue again!

It's such a shame he had the fish kill all those years ago and the dam wall fiasco......other wise it would have been doing load of 50s and 60s by now.......

Are you sure?
