I need some stage stands and having never used them before. Do they all work similarly in that i will be using stainless bank sticks with a corkscrew end and wondered on what type these might fit the best. My banksticks are not a mainstream manufacturer hence i cant just buy the corresponding stands, any advise appreciated.

The JAG stage stands come with a short internal bankstick. The rear stick doubles as a screwdriver for driving the wood screw through the base of the stage bite. You use the supplied stick and not your existing bank sticks for your buzz bars.

I'm not sure if other manufacturers have a system that allows you to use existing sticks rather than an insert.

Stage stands come in two sizes, suitable for 13mm or 16mm bank sticks.

If your sticks have a screw point they won't sit deep enough so worth getting some cheapo ali sticks.
You can get a pair of stands for about £10 and they are all you'd need.

Jrc did a stage stand the had a bush in it so you could use different thickness sticks

Whats the size of your sticks?

This will dictate whats available for them.

Thanks, yes thinking about it i have my pods sticks that i can use which are solid and flat and should secure fine as in the pic there, what type of stands are they btw?

Your pod legs are probably 16mm.

My stage stands in the pics below fit 13mm sticks, but the same company also do 16mm stands.
