Many thanks to ESP for sending me a replacement bung for my Twistlock landing net pole. After many years of service the pole failed to lock along the centre section of the pole due to wear.
A quick email to ESP and a replacement bung arrived the next day free of charge.

Known fault with the twistlock mech on the landing net poles - I've just been spent 2x spares FOC from Drennan / ESP
Trick is not to OVERTIGHTEN when either extending or collapsing - as soon as it 'bites' then stop!

I needed the same a new bung same experience great company esp also got sensible top names working for them I really enjoy there vids terry a Alfie I always try and buy esp tackle instead of other brands

I use the ESP catapults. The hollow elastic joins onto the frame with a brass ferule, I was using it once and it all came apart and the brass ferule ended up in the drink. Quick email to ESP and a few days later, 2 x spare ones FOC.
Obviously, a good company with a focus on customer service and care.

Or they realise there are some issues with products, and sending a few odds and ends out in the post is cheaper than a recall

I've had there catapults years never had a problem there are some good companies out there esp is one of them unlike others I could mention

Yes, I had issues with mine, my own fault for overtightening, wouldn't lock, I removed the rubber bung, dismantled and cleaned, to my surprise (as I'm usually useless at these things) it now works again.

I can't recommend ESP more highly they have excellent customer service. I had an issue with a line clip on one reel they sent me a replacement received the next day. Wish all companies had this level of service and especially with how much carp tackle cost

Exactly. There's a lot more companies out there who can't be bothered to pick up the phone or answer emails than there are who send out replacements FOC.

Definitely a great company to deal with in my experience. Had a strange issue with a coated braid once upon a time, and they replaced without quibble. i only bought one spool, but received 3 replacements in the post.
