After booking a last minute trip for later this year, if anyone has any recommendations that fit atleast some of the below criteria and may have space in Sept or Oct

Not too fussed about the fishing but a chance of a 40+ would be good.

Preferably lake exclusive for 4/5 anglers but not essential as i know most will be booked up already.

Preferably within 3 hour drive from calais but again not essential

Hi Mart, I have been to les rivets.

Lovely venue and totally secure with electric gate access. House is huge with 2 double bedrooms looking out to the lake and a lovely patio area for barbecues. There is small cabin down near the lake with kitchen / toilets and the heated pool is great.

Adrian the owner has spent a fortune on the place after the dam had to be basically rebuilt.

Fish are really starting to come on again too and it will do plenty of 40s and 50s in the near future.

Price is very good too if a few of you go.............

Thanks for the reply and info Wayne.

It looks great and a bargain to me! Thinking of booking the whole place and house for a family trip next year

I went to Les Rivets for a week with my daughters, my girlfriend and her boy.

The weather was scorchio so we spent most of the time in the pool, and days out locally (there was a circus when we went)

I only fished at night when the kids had gone to bed, but had a great time. Hard fighting fish and I was getting 2 or 3 a night which was the perfect amount to make it feel like a fishing holiday but still have enough energy not to be grumpy with the family the next day

If you end up going I can try to find info on things we did whilst there and which were good
