Pocket pods ,made by either Bison,NGT or Whychwood..
I'm trying to find out whether ,a old skool Solar 16 inch diameter bankstick ,will fit into the female hole diameter to make the pod up..the threaded end is not a problem,it is the main bar,which utilises a bankstick I'm interested in..
A l9ng shot,but no doubt someone might have a two piece pod of the afore mentioned and can hopefully let me know..

yes it will. the hole is half inch.

Solar 16" diameter is never going through a 1/2 inch hole Adam 
If it is 1/2" hole in the pocket pod then thats 12.7mm diameter not many stick would fit that if its 3/4" hole which is 19.05mm which seems more realistic for size for most sticks to be accommodated

Had this pod many moons ago and used solar banksticks to connect both brackets. So the banksticks of solar fit

i hate it when people hijack threads and talk as if they know what they are going on about.
I 've got one of these pods. the hole is half inch (maybe a fraction over ). Solar sticks are half inch ~ they 100% fit and so do matrix slinky.

Not hijacking the thread at all, I was just making light of the fact that Adam (wandle1) had stated 16 inch diameter which I would assume he meant 16mm solar stick in which case it still wouldn't fit in a 1/2 inch hole at a little over 12mm just simple observation, chill out.

No worries ,thanks for all replies though..
(Actually plan was,as I fish two plus one 100% of the time,was to use my old skool kool mk 1 sod pod ,for the two rods,and then use five solar Bank sticks for the make shift pod,....or buy another used sod pod and or a boss pod..as I'd only use it now n again)...

Same as that Adam I doubt my sod pod has been out the tube in ten years or more, I used to love using it 20+ years ago it was the bees knees but these days pods have become lighter quicker etc.. it just doesn't see the light of day along with my original globetrotter pod both sat gathering dust.
