I ended up buying a fat boy mk2 from dansons this morning and fancy some of the bags they make for there barrows. Whats the quality like of the carp porter luggage? Is it well made?

I've got the Carp porter barrow bag and the food bag, bought secondhand but pretty much unused. I've only used them for just over a year, but there's been no problem's, or deterioration of the materials. So I would yes, they are well made with decent materials

I've got the front food bag and the under bag. All are still going strong and I've had them for more than 5 years

Had mine ten years now and the front bag has started tearing on the top carry bar , the under bag is still faultless

Same as others. The big front bag has torn by the handle but apart from that the other stuff I have seems ok.

I've got the food bag with the cooking utensils and cooler bag inside too I find it perfect and I've got the under bag as well great for storing stuff I can't fit anywhere else,I've also got 2 saddle bags which I don't need no more they are up for sale on eBay at minute along with a rolling table and boilie gin as well.
So yeah the luggage is great quality

Long ones I think they fit the sides of the mk2

I Could be wrong[won't be a first] but I thought the shorter ones were for mk2?
I just measured my side bars and they are 18,1/2 inches overall. [47cms]
would that be the same as yours?

Just measured them they come as 28” long by around 9” deep and yep it's a no 2 Porter I've got

Ordered the two long side bags, tackle tidy bag with rain cover, some panniers and a pair of deluxe porter pals so that should be more than enough. Cheers everyone.
Just ordered a power porter and some of the luggage.
With the front bag does anyone know how much weight it will take with out damaging the power porter. I have not received the power porter yet but just swapped my ruck sack into the front bag and it must weigh 15kg+.
Is this going to be ok?
