Im in the market for a new power barrow and would like a little advice.
I has the old 12v power barrow when they first came out, 100% didnt have enough grunt so its nice to see power barrows now come in 24v.
I moved from thst to a nash barrow, the big one, it was the same weight as my house from memory, so much so i simply left it a Deepings!
I have been using a fox barrow, and to be honest apart from the handles being constently loose its a good barrow. Now i cant work out if its my mind playing tricks on me but i actually think i can get as much stuff on the fox barrow as i could with both of the above mentioned barrows? As i say its been a while since i used anything else so i could be wrong. My only downfall now is where i used to put my old fox barrow bag on the front is now redundant as im now with Solar, and they dont do a bag that fits it.
Ive seen a few posts of people saying Carp Porter is not built how it used to be, whats changed? I was looking at the big daft 3 wheel piwer barrow but is bloody expensive and i actually think with the waters i fish the 3 wheels will be a hinderence 50% of the time, it looks to heavy to lift the rear wheels up in the air for longer periods on uneven sloping ground.
My options as i see it right now as they stand are.
Convert the fox barrow
Buy an older better made Carp Porter and convert that
Buy a nash power barrow.
Any help would be greatly recieved.

Ive had numerous power versions of carp porter - I had the 12v and nevcer missed a trick and ive now got the al;l singing 24v 3 wheel big boy and its also not missed a beat so ive no idea where the quality issues come from, as im a tart and love a gadget I have also got a nash trax metro 24v power barrow its much more streamline and pull;s like a train by comparison to the porter and I really like the housing for the battery however in a year Ive had moire problems with that than in 10 years of using prestige (2 x controlller units have gone in that time) both replaced under warranty
make of that what you will however there are a number of self kits available nowdays from companies on fb who do self fit kits energize is one I think and a few lads have them, on my syndicate and havent had issues and if I was in the market again thats the route Id go down

i had the non powered 3-Wheel big boy Carp Porter .... its a beast of a thing and the handle design is horrible. The 3 wheels only really work on the flattest ground and you do continually need to lift to redirect as it doesnt push straight
