Looking for some lightweight reels to go with a pair of 9ft 2.75lb scopes, bit of a tight budget so not too expensive. Also can anyone recommend a decent pair of bite alarms with receiver also on a budget?

Okuma 6000 Inc. About £50 ish, nice clutch and solid. Highly rated and I've had mine for over 2 years and they're still going strong

Another for the Okuma Inc 6000, top reel. If you like the freespool feature, think the LS-6k is the freespool version of the Inc 6000.
Re bite alarms, have a look at the Prologic BAT alarms. Very cheap and very good, should be able to get a 2+1 for about £60.
Get an order in asap, you'll get the benefits of Black Friday for both reels and alarms.
