Anyone know of anywhere that has one in stock. Ive tried everywhere but no luck. There was one at a garden centre on amazon but its a bit steep at £350.

No probs, cheers anyway 👍🏻 Might just bite the bullet and pay the £350 for the one i found. There was a new one on ebay the other week but it went for £400 so they are becoming sort after. Angling direct were selling them for £125 when the new version came out which is crap in comparison. I tried to buy all 10 that they had but it wouldnt let me.

I think what you really meant to say, is you'd have sold them on eBay for a tidy profit. Nothing wrong with that. I got six from a online tackle dealer in Austria (Fishernator), I made just over £100 profit per reel when I decided to sell them and they went within hours of being put on sale, sold as two sets of three.

I agree 5 spare castizms might sound excessive but at the price they were selling them for it was worth stocking up. If i was going to do things like that i would of sold the two brand new abu suverans 4000 reels that i bought as spares about 15 years ago but there still in the loft since the day i bought them and there changing hands for £500 a reel now and only paid £130 for each one. I have quite a collection of new gear thats been discontinued as i very rarely go fishing anymore, I just like buying it.

i think if you really like a product its not unusual to buy end of line stock and keep as spares ... i have 3 x Cayman Bivvies & Wraps in the loft still boxed i bought when they disconinued them.
