I know Chris has quite a following so thought I'd share his kickstarter that I stumbled across today (no affiliation obviously and hopefully allowed but admins please remove if not).

Sorry ,as much as I like Chris Yates its one of those begging kickstarters I dislike .
The kickstarter campaign tells us how wonderful its all going be , how experienced and great they are BUT then they want £8000 to get it off the ground now surely between the 3 of these successful guys they can fund this themselves or is it really that they don't want to risk their own money!

I think mr yates is an amusing old eccentric angler, who clearly has chose his own path through life,,but how do all those video makers and podcasters manage on youtube, vimeo, and other such media outlets, they seem to manage without asking for money.
I think we would all like to eliminate risk by having others finance our ideas.
it only has a short time to go, doesn't look like it's going to reach the 8k.
you'd have thought using old tackle and a bit of crust for so long, just the money he saved on gear and bait would have financed it??

Chris Yates is unique.
I'm sure it would do ok if Chris just did what most of us would have to do, save up for it, or get a small bank loan, or put it on the credit card, or any combination of these, to get it off the ground

Probably spent it all on cakes and tea parties along the way

I think the story is chris's wife left him, and unconnected to this bob james left his wife for another woman, yates then no longer wanted anything to do with bob james.
It was peter regans wife that left him for hutchie.
I fished with them all at one time, I don't remember any swapping at the time.

It didn't reach the target, surprised it wasn't snapped up by one of the other podcast guys,Korda,Nash,etc,etc, or even the TV ,netflix, they worked with him previously.
