HI, just got myself a solar worldwide pod as a treat. Love the design but the legs / BankSticks are shocking! Brand-new and all stick and need a serious amount of force to move. Then insert then comes out of main tube and I have to take apart to get it to fit back together again!

Am I being dumb and is there a knack to this or are they as Sh*%e as I am thinking???

Solars gear is way behind the likes of jag when it comes to quality of the finished product so probably normal. There new stuff seems better though as have there universal pod and the fit and quality of finish is better than it used to be. Yes its annoying how the inserts come right out.

i haven't got the p1 legs but do have some legs off the earlier worldwide which are very easy to adjust just unscrew the locking collar by about half a turn then they move very freely, i also have an original globetrotter the legs are a bigger diameter but again very easy to adjust

I have the original P1 pod, longer P1 banksticks and original Solar banksticks.
All very easy to extend, although stupidly I have mislaid and lost one of the locking collars on one of the P1 banksticks and I'll be damned if I can find a spare.

Means I might have to contact Solar directly for a replacement
