Any suggestion on a small / compact ( car boot friendly ) electric barrow?

I would look at the electric conversions available, they seem to be produced for most barrows nowadays, if you already have a barrow you are happy with it might be you can get a conversion for it and save yourself some money.

I just purchased a global angling conversion for my fox explorer and it's amazing. I love it and will do a proper review when I get time.
The BUT - is car storage - I wheel into a van and never pack it down. I wouldn't want to pack down every session, it has a cross bar on the forks (the original didn't) this means the wheel doesn't go on or off easily. I would also worry about the wheel plug and how much wear and tear it could take. Mine is all cable tied, no stress on anything.
Like I say perfect for my situation but may not be for you. What I will say is call global they are amazing- they will guide you through what suits, then you can find a 2nd hand donor barrow and go from there.

You can get a dedicated conversion kit for a Porterlite . . .failing that the Nash Power Metro is relatively compact and should fit in a decent sized hatchback no probs

My basic Nash trax is farely compact by today's standards and I have the global conversion on it

i GOT A global angling conversion for my fox explorer and it drives in the back of my peugeot 406 estate I just need to remove the handles once in and he bedchair goes along side it

Likewise i have an original nash trax evo barrow with global kit on it, i just remove the handles leave the wheel on and it goes in the back of my golf estate, the length of the barrow goes in the width of the car if that makes sense

I have a fox explorer that goes in the back of my estate with the bag loaded etc - i dont have a ramp, just lift it... getting tempted by these conversion kits.... does the wheel / motor add considerable weight?
