So who actually knows what's going on here? I've heard that they have closed multiple lakes, what's the reason behind it. I used to fish it many many years ago when Derek still owned it before he took the big carp with him. New owners are a joke and they ran the place into the ground. I'm just curious as I can't seem to find out any info online

Oh I am don't worry I'm just being nosey. I went once after the new owners bought the place and they tried telling me a 48 inch net wasn't going to be big enough and insisted I had to rent one of theirs

Yeah mate I believe they did for a bit a few years back. Charging extortionate prices to hire out bait boats on lakes with a 30 yard casting range

Used to fish it same to as you years ago, until it just got rammed and full of idiots! As far as i was aware they have sold all the specimen lakes and they've been fenced off, all that remains is the small lake by the house and what was the match sort of lake that you can fish on, not that i'd even bother mind you!
No idea who was lucky enough to buy the rest of the lakes and what they're doing with them.

No idea if they'll turn it into a syndicate, be interesting to see what happens with it, would probably make a good syndicate to be fair if run properly.
Definitely got sold though as far as i was aware, quick google of it up for sale and you'll see which part they sold - on Farmland market.

Thanks for the info. All still seems a bit dodgy to me wonder why they would keep furnace and hyes and sell the other 4. I agree would make a good syndicate if run by someone who knows what they're doing and isn't just about the money like the previous owners
