I really like my fox Exocet line in 16lb and need to respool but wondered if there was a line people are recommending which is similar but cheaper?

My advice would be that if you have a line you are happy with stick with it. Everybody wants something different in a line. A recommendation on here might be a bit cheaper but if you don't like it you'll just want to take it off and go back to what you know.

If you have a line you like, DO NOT change from it, unless it changes or no longer suits your fishing.
Loads of people may well recommend lines, it is what they get on with, it works for them in their situations, it may not suit you or yours.
