i have x2 sets of rods and reels and they are not getting much use so have decided to sell x1 set of rods and reels, problem is i d not know which to sell!
rods.
x3 Harrison 12ft 3 1/4 torrix
x3 leslies of Luton 2 3/4 original burgandy insight rods
reels
x3 Daiwa Tournament Entoh original silver reels
x3 Shimano CI4 XTRA 5500 Baitrunner reels
which would you sell and which would you keep for future use, i fish mainly medium sized waters. do i keep the torrix, which can fish anywhere or do i keep the insights as they are supposedly good for 175 yards according to the original advertising. obviously the reels would match the rods, ie. daiwa with Torrix and Shimano with Insights. so whats your opinions please?

I would KEEP the harrisons no question for me 
Pretty sure the Insight rods were built on Harrison blanks too?
I would be dubious whether they would out cast the more modern and heavier TC Torrix rods. Question is do you need to?
If the Insights are in good nick and you do decide to move them on I'd be interested, always fancied a set but couldn't afford them at the time.

I'm a low TC ,afficiando...but anyway... for all round use it's going to be the Harrisons ,and the Daiwa reels..thats what I would keep ..
(I've only one set of rods right now,on purpose,so understand what you mean)..if Beyonce doesn't want those Leslie's rods ,try vintagecarpfishing .com ,they buy old skool stuff,I often look and nearly hit the button,I've been good so far. !

The original insights i recall are ballista derived blanks i would keep them over the torrix . The insight ( generation ) mk 2 were torrix blanks in 3.25 and 3.5 they came out 2012 ish

medium sized waters, Drop the Torrix and shimano imo, no need for a stiff blank at such distances.

Ditch the torrix and entohs, ci4 medium baitrunner 5500 is a better reel.

I have a pair of the original Leslie's insight, bought them from new. From memory they came out at the same time as a range of Kevin Maddocks rods and the blanks look remarkably similar. Also think they were the first carbon rods that had a carbon wrap around them.
I used and abused mine but they are still going strong and the stiff butt section still provides the backbone of the rod. To be honest they have been outdated and I suspect any modern blank would out perform them

Only sell if you really need the money.
Storing 3 rods and reels doesn't cost anything.
You never know you'll be using them in the future!

I would sell the torrix on for sure.
And the xta c14 medium br are fantastic reels, keep them.
