Dull story but on my little fox brolly I would rather use a bankstick as centre pole - the standard bankstick thread (female) is fractionally out so am looking for a female (large) to male (standard bank stick) converter does anyone know the sizes please?

The bankstick will be 3/8 BSF, no idea what fox use on their brollies. You could try asking Fox, but your best bet is taking it to a good fastenings supplier, they'll be able to measure it, or at least try different bolts to find a fit. I suspect that when you know the thread sizes you'll have to have your adapter made up as a one off.

Some brollies are metric 6mm and as said banksticks three eighth BSF.

Cheers Goose and I reckon I have it now - the brolly thread is slightly to big for bankstick so I reckon brolly is 10mm ish
