Just wondering if the fortis marine jacket along with the liner are warm enough for winter . Also , how does this combination compare in warmth to the SJ9 , many thanks.

No idea in comparison with the SJ9, but the liner is plenty warm enough for me from Spring to Autumn. I had it without the liner initially, and it's definitely not warm on its own, as it is technically just a waterproof jacket.

Thanks for the reply . I was hoping that the jacket along with liner might be ok for winter . I think that the liner has the same filling as the SJ9 but maybe a thinner version so therefore not quite as warm , thanks.

I haven't got the marine liner when i looked at them they did look quite thin, but i do have the fj6 jacket which isnt much dearer which i can get under my marine jacket, i feel this is a better combination for me from autumn to early spring

Thanks for the reply . Spring through to autumn then . Trying to decide whether to go for them with perhaps a Black Friday deal in the future . Didn't know whether they were good enough to justify the price , thanks.
