Sinks well, very tough, thick, abrasion resistant braid. Care needs to be taken keeping it wet for casting as it does go a little brittle in the sun.
It's not great for casting, I doubt if I could do 100 yards with it but 80 is OK, but a lot more hard work than the Avid Braid.
I guess it depends what you want it for, but for short and medium range stuff, especially in weed, it works well. If you need to go long, I'd opt for the Avid.
Both different, both excellent braids.

Sounds perfect for my needs, only fishing in close on a mega weedy venue, some Swan muscle biggest I've seen. Lots of snags in the margins. Cheers.

It sinks like a brick , sounds like you want a floating or neutral braid. Power pro in 50 lb .

The main reason the Avid probably casts better is it is only 0.25 in diameter whereas the TA one is 0.34. I personally would go by diameter when buying braids and would go with the thicker one if range isn't an issue but weed is

I'm fishing in very close with running rigs and very tight lines using titanium short arm indicators, working well for the tench so far.

I think the sbx is fantastic, super tough and sinks really well, just be aware its a lot thicker than stated comes in at 0.49 hence why its so heavy and isnt the best for casting,

Strange thing as tackle box test says 0.49 but I've spooled one reel with it and micrometer at four different points while loading was very consistent at 0.36 min and 0.37 max so don't know how they got 0.49. I've been using bullet mono at 0.40 and can see this is visual thicker than the braid.

Uuuuummm, although the bullet looks thicker I've micrometer Ed that and my mic say its thinner so got my mate to check my micrometer at his work and it's way out. He is going to get it calibrated for me but tackle box test has the bullet at 0.39 so the sbx being thicker maybe their 0.49 is correct.
