Have been tempted by these for a while to replace my Shimano beastmasters. Are they any good? Any users on here. Or even the 8k not sure 🤔

I've had the T Rex for a couple of months now and I like them. Penning did a youtube review (but he was sponsored). They're smallish reels, run smoothly, drag clicker seems robust enough and all round I'm happy although it's still early days but Okuma have a decent reputation. I think these sell more on the continent where perhaps folks arent so brand orientated.

I've got some T-Rex and I rate them very highly.
I've also got Penn Affinity, and prefer using the Okumas (they do have a smaller spool for casting though)

I was not impressed with it especially in direct comparison with Daiwa/Shimano, Daiwa Emcast 25A is a far better real imo and cheaper

Haven't got the T Rex but it looks similar-ish to the Inc 6000 which are very good. Perhaps they're a bit bigger.
The 8k's had meant to be a massive reel, so it depends what you want them for. They are decent value though and will be good reels. I have quite a few Okuma's, the Inc 6000's plus some lure fishing reels. And they're all very good.

How do you find the drag clickers?
I've some Okuma longbow baitrunners and the clickers are much quieter than my shimanos. Probably the only thing I would like to change for how I use them, gearbox and drag are very smooth.
