How is it ive seen the same fox leads in different shops vary from 1.25 to 2.40 thats a bit random isnt it ? Just a heads up that if your local tackle shop is selling at 2.40 you can save plenty by shopping around. I only noticed this as i needed some leads while visiting a day ticket venue and i stopped on the way. 2,40 per lead and it didnt matter whether it was 1.5 oz or 4 oz. I nearly glued 2 leads together instead 
. I know you can get leads cheaper but i like the fox ones the coating seems very durable too.

Might stop all the mongs dropping leads for the sake of it
I expect the same with most tackle items over the next year. Luxury items really, sales will probably drop and a lot of suppliers will feel the pinch and probably close down

I know what you mean, I used to make my own leads and for some mates but it gets laborious, I've gone back to buying half a dozen when needed and I was in the tackle shop last weekend and noticed they were selling fox leads at 2.00 each this was for 6oz and 8oz fox edges cling on leads , I've got a trip to France next month so took advantage and bought 5 of each size as its boating out at distance on braided reel lies.
As an example I just googled the same leads and Tackle Tavern are selling them respectively at 2.90 and 3.20, which I reckon is the real RRP for leads this weight and the tackle shop I use marked them up wrong.

My brother who's a match fisherman makes carp leads from the lead he gets through work(he's a builder)only ones he don't do are online as he says too fiddly to do

there are tons of people makng and selling cheap leads just look on facebook for on thats local to your area

Inlines are by far the simplest to do, its just a case of clamping the two sides of the moulds together, insert the stainless steel pin and fill with lead.
Let the lead set then pull out the stainless steel pin and repeat the operation.
Its far simpler than having to position the lead loops with or without swivels into the small grooves cut into the lead and then position the other side of the mould carefully so the lead loops align on that side of the mould as well and try not to dislodge or misplace the lead loops when you clamp it tight. And this is with a very hot mould that you have to wear thick gloves with, just catch the mould wrong with the gloves and displace everything, and its start again.
The only main difference is you can only make one inline at a time as opposed to four at a time with other leads unless you have an inline mould to make 2 or 4 leads but the best inline moulds seem to be singular. But, when you take into consideration the amount of time to position lead loops and swivels etc, there is not much difference time wise.
I would sooner make inlines anyday compared to other leads.
