Just got a van (for leisure not work) and wondered if anyone had any van interior setups they like?
Have googled and searched extensively but can't find anything that I like.

Just write a list of what you want to carry and where
It should become obvious then
It's a totally custom thing and you are only looking at photos of what previous customers had
I had a false floor in my despatch and hid the rods and drills etc under there so when anyone looked in through the window it looked empty
Vivaro and Transit custom was different I just used racking as they didn't have back windows and had deadlocks fitted

To some degree it's gonna depend on what you want to do with it. For example if you want to be able to roll your barrow fully loaded straight in then you might be better off with side racking as a fully loaded barrow is actually quite tall so a false floor might not work. However if you fish waters where you park next to the swim then maybe you don't need a barrow but would actually like to put your bedchair in the van and sleep in it instead of a bivvy, like a guy does in one of my waters. In which case maybe a false floor is better. Like already mentioned the security aspect of having a full bulkhead or glass in the back has an effect. If it's secure maybe you have a rack running down the drivers side that holds made up rods/reels so you always have a floater, stalking, long range set up with you.
It's basically endless. For example in my next work van I've already decided that im going to carry slightly less spares and give that area over to a unit with a gas ring and small sink with a space for my 12v cool box underneath. As after covid a lot of places don't supply teas etc anymore and it can double up as a bit of a tea station in winter when im pike fishing and want to be mobile and carry less gear. So I can wander round spinning/drop shotting for a couple of hours then back to the van for a brew.

Gotta be careful not to put too much weight on the one side though go through tyres then lol
I bolted mine through the bulkhead and left a gap down both sides so I could hang the baiting pole bank storm poles etc on the right hand side
And on the left hand side a gap behind where the fixings were so I could stuff things that only ever came out on certain waters.

Check out Yoke Van Kits mate they do loads of racking systems that work for fishing gear as well as tools.

What van do you have and what do you want to do with it. I have a bed, table, shelving, safe rod storage and room for a fully loaded barrow in my vivaro but not all at the same time.

Vans looking good, built some shelves, added some brackets and about 50 bungees and it's looking great.

I bought a VW Caddy Maxi ( LWB ) back in February and have spent the Spring /early summer kitting it out for fishing. .
My budget allowed me to get it fitted out by a VW camper specialist. Don't get me wrong, it's still a van but I've added side windows, had it sound deadened, insulated, ply & carpet lined, low voltage internal lighting and had a leisure battery added with 12volt and USB charge points. It's basically a bivvy on wheels. Both my river ticket and syndicate lake have plenty of swims where I can park right behind the rods. It's effectively a part time camper that I can take anywhere, but has the benefit of still having the full load area should I require the space for work. I also modified and fitted a plywood racking unit that sits over a wheel arch so takes up no floor space but provides me with loads of storage. I can leave a bedchair set up in the back with plenty of space below for luggage and tackle / food bags. Hoping it will come into its own over Autumn and Winter when it will provide luxury bank side accommodation. Depending on your budget, the possibilities are endless.

Would be awesome if you could post some pics
Expecting delivery of my Mercedes Citan LWB in October(still being assembled at their factory), and plan on doing mine too, but need afew ideas as well. Ply lining and carpeting, plus LED lighting and storage space. To be used as my carp van, and nothing else
