Dear sleuths, I have a set of rods with this written on the butt,fuji dnps seat and hardloy rings, in a 12ft 2.5tc configuration.
I have searched but can find nothing about them or Gary Bailey, at least,nothing relevant.
The rods are chestnut brown blanks and whipping and overfit joints,abbreviated dupion handles. There is no further decals or writing on them. I bought them new from ebay some years back,they're surprisingly nice actioned though would benefit from 30mm ringing I feel.
Any clues folks?

Do you know where the seller was from when you bought them. Gary bailey was the owner of keswalls angling in woodford. Im not sure if its anything to do with him, but he did have a few fingers in pies around the industry so could well have been something to do with him. Or it could be a totallly different gary bailey

Heffer, it was many years ago when I purchased and cannot remember where but your theory makes sense. I only paid 50 per rod brand new,perhaps a closing down sale?

They sound like they're possibly on Harrison blanks.

I spoke with a shop employee of 20 years who suggests they were Sundrige blanks,part of a shop built range including pike and barbel offerings.

Yes,Keswalls but I forgot the man's name. He did work alongside Gary Bailey.

Yes they were definately built on sundridge blanks i rebuilt three some years ago.
