Has anyone had much experience with a low carp stock eel infested lake at all? If so any idea what baits they dislike?
Thanks

You might try baiting a distant spot for eels to draw them away as well.

They can be a pain.
I kid you not I've reeled in ( sea fishing ) to two eels on the same bit of cuttle fish, both gripping the cuttle fish and not the hook lol. Friends have had multiple cases of small half pound eels getting smashed by bigger ones as well
Long hairs MIGHT help as they tend to bite baits, no idea if it would work just a theory

No meat, no fish. It's believed that eels are pretty much carnivorous. Nuts would be my choice.
Amazing creatures though, make sure you treat them gently even if they are a nuisance to you.

Try soaking your baits in a Betaine solution, it may help.
As others have said if allowed maybe try the particle route.

Just reviving this one...
Did you fish the lake and find anything that worked at all?
I'm about to join a syndicate with a similar issue and would rather not get hammered by eels!

The Nutrabaits Enervite of old, used to be good for eel avoidance. even though it contained Liver powder.
Seems they didn't possible like the mixture of spices it contained, and/or the liquid additions of one drop of Garlic essential oil.
or another stinker - Mexican onion oil was a popular addition.

Tigers, or a good hard boilie.
My old place was rammed with eels, lads reeling in bare hooks after a few hours. The small eels would whittle baits down with no bleeps, bigger ones would bite on and you'd get some indication and a chunk of boilie missing.
I stopped using pellet, just fed hard 20mm fishmeal boilies with garlic in and used the same on the hook.
I don't mean air dried hard, as they would soon soak up water and soften.
I mean a quality stiff mix, with added egg alb, they'd remain hard for 12 hours plus.

Yeah we have some clonking great eels on my ticket water, but if you stick to sweeter baits (nut/fruit) you never even see them.
The moment you start throwing krill in, or god forbid worms - you catch eels immediately.
