Im looking at getting one of the high backs.
Can anyone who has one (or knows) tell me what the maximum height is to the seat with the legs full extended.

Be aware that the high chair is high because it has longer legs, it doesn't have a higher back.

22 inches to the base of the seat and then the seat has an inch of padding.

I got the low chair earlier this month from the tackletavern.co.uk, was the cheapest going at the time. Probs still is now.

How comfy are these chairs as i suffer from severe arthritus in my knees and find it extremely difficult getting up out of anything thats too low or the chair inases you and you have to push down on the arms to get out.

I really didnt rate the solar chair at all. It seemed very well made but for me, the trakker levelite is a lot more comfortable, especially having a higher backrest, to the extent that i have swapped back

Ive got the solar sp c tech high back, nash indulgence sub lo, nash ind moon chair and the trakker levelite - the solar is in a different league - its a much taller and higher chair so the sitting position is much more upright and the lumbar support id genius and its a solid piece of kit its also bigger than both the levelite and indulgemnce as a pack down on the barrow, the moon chair is very comfortable but completely unpractical as the pack down size is massive so I now only use it when camping, the Indulgence sub lo is a great chair and well built and I would say the trakker levelite is the worst of them all that I own - its light but not very strong and the sitting position isnt as upright as I would like and naturally becasue of the height of that and the indulgence your legs naturally go out in front as opposed to sitting up straight with the solar

Just be careful with the high version as it may be too high for you to sit under your shelter without your head touching the top. Unless you're extremely tall then the low should be fine.
