A new lake I'm fishing has a rule that you have to have a high sided mat or cradle, are there any you would recommend ? AD have the advanta rehab cradle for half price at the minute has anybody used this or any others you would recommend ? Cheers
The Advanta one has gone down really well, few friends have got I'm and they do the job.

Yes I'd recommend without hesitation the NGT ,padded cradle ,the one that has the mesh underneath ,removable padded inner mat,it's light ,has kneeling flap..
It's a bit bulky tho,but I use that to my advantage, when you set up lay your holdall on it ,makes it a doddle to get yr rods out ..
It's NGT,people going to get brand snobbery over it myself I think it better by far over so so called premium brands..
Why pay more,...?

Been looking at these for a few weeks. AD are doing the XL for £53.99, usually £84 so i just ordered one.

Well worth it - don't get me wrong the ones that sell for £100+ are high quality but if you're not catching huge carp then the NGT / AD stuff does the job.

Im currently using a Chub Xtra protection cradle. Been good over the years but always found it a big of a pain doing the zips up in the 4 corners and it takes ages to dry out, whereas the Advanta has the mesh at the bottom. I also do 2 France trips a year so the XL is perfect for there.

Yeah my NGT one is just for the UK day sesh or long weekends.
I would love to go to France and would invest in a better cradle for sure.

I've ordered the advanta one, it's only for 1 lake and the fish are only up to mid 20 so don't need anything huge, will let you know what it's like when I get it 👍
