Right so basically I've got a water I'm able to fish that is around 750m long and about 20 metres wide that has very little angling pressure but is home to around 30 carp, biggest is nearly a 30, this lake is very natural and has masses of natural food sources and huge lilly pads dotted around the stretch of water, I'm just wondering what your opinion is on the best approach to get some carp, I'm lightly prebaiting 3 potential spots at the moment that I've seen activity on, the lake is extremely silty and my prebaiting consists of sweetcorn, 2—6mm fishmeal pellets and hemp, putting around 500g of bait on each spot every night. Was planning on doing this for about a week to get the carp comfortable and then fish it. The fish are originals and not stocked or anything.

Just do your upmost to find the fish and spend some time watching if you can.
Maybe add some bigger / harder items to your pre-bait in case small fish are present.
Good luck with it.

Carry on doing what your doing, maybe mix in a high quality food bait boillie, fish very similar myself some of the time. People will tell you partical but I've found fish that see no or very little angling pressure will readily accept a good food bait very quickly and will keep on feeding on it. Normally turn up at dawn and rebait my spots, back to car for coffee and pick up rod, matt, net and small tackle bag. If I catch quickly off the first spot I move to one of the others and when it goes quite ill recheck the spots and rebait. Don't do much during the late morning but I eat a sit watching the water and doze or floater fish. Go back on the bait as sun goes down and top up before going home. It can be long days this time of year with the long hours of daylight and one of my places is an hour and a half drive each way. Good luck but you'll definitely have them.
