I use Fox Exocet Distance Casting Fluoro Orange Mono Line 1000m in 10lb 0.26 with a leader , its super supple and casts great and you dont have to worry about wind knots

Last year's fishing line?
For my exclusive spod rod I reel the line off my spool onto the spod reel. The line underneath is unused to works well with a 30lb Amnesia leader.

I normally use Gardner Pro Line in 15lb

8-10lb Daiwa Sensor - used in conjunction with an ESP tapered shockleader. No need for thick diameter main line - all you're doing is retreiving the empty spod - the leader takes the weight on the cast

I use 10lb Korda carp line.

I much prefer spod ding with mono over braid especially on open pits in a cross wind
