Anyone got any longer term reviews on this line
My syndicate has a 0.35mm rule it gets fairly weedy in summer I see that the 12lb hydro is 0.35mm so would be fine but I am erring on the side of caution and thinking of going for the 15lb
Any pointers as to how both lines cast and behave on the spool would be appreciated

It's awesome stuff.
It's a snag line so don't expect to be casting 180 with it, but in the lower diameters it casts well enough. Behaves well on the spool. Very responsive for a snag line, feels like relatively low stretch and gets a very good drop on touch-down. The main benefit is its abrasion resistance which is almost unbeatable imo. Proper hard as nails.
I first used it in 20 lb to meet a minimum .40 line rule. Was so impressed I now also use it in lower diameters for other applications. I use the .35 for getting that bit more distance when it's weedy and you should have zero problems mate.

I use the 15lb (0.38mm) for lakes and river and really rate it. Seems a bit cheaper than the other lines too which is a bonus

I've been using it on the river Thames in .40 since before it was released to the public. It's an incredibly strong mono, that behaves very well on the spool as Yonny said. I've had a carp go around a wooden post in the river covered in zebras, and still got the carp back.
I have no affiliations with any tackle companies anymore, and happily prefer to pay for all my tackle (trade).
It's the best/strongest mono on the market by some way IMO.

Just checked a part used reel of Lo viz green in 15lb.
Reads 0.35 with the vernier and listed as 0.38 on the label.
Cannot remember which reels it's spooled on but it's not been a problem or I would have noted it.

maybe the spool you had was from a different batch to mine but the spool i had measured 0.37mm in 15lb measured with a calibrated micrometer, it is a very durable line i didn't try casting it to its limit but had no trouble using the 15lb at 95yds with two bait stringer

I reckon unless all samples of line were measured with the same instrument and with a totally automated process there will be discrepancies. Mono or any line is not like a solid material..it is so easy to compress and take an inaccurate reading, unlike, say for instance, a crankshaft journal.

Used the .38 for years now. Obviously not the best for casting long distances but it sinks well, behaves well, and is bulletproof. It's the closest mono I've been able to find with the sinking properties of fluoro, but without the related knot/strength issues. Ignore the rated breaking strain and just go off the diameter. It's good stuff, recommended.

Hmmmm.. I bought a spool last year and every knot I tried to tie with it pig tailed terribly and it was wavy off the bat, after using cm90 and pb control i couldnt bring myself to use it so its sat in the garage. It was the 15lb version.

I have used it years ago and used to rate it highly, but that was before trying lines such as the ones mentioned above and Shimano Tech black (which unfortunately no longer available)
I bought it in hope it was all I remembered it to be, but to be honest lines have come on since then in my opinion. Especially fluorocarbon which is now as supple as mono. T
That's not to say its not tuff as old boots and won't let you down. I just get hung up on the waviness/twisting and coiling with some of the older lines.
