Had an invite from friends but didn't bother. Surprised so many do still want to see them live given their history.

Couldn't be bothered to go on stage because he wanted to see the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film. When they eventually went on, they were booed. By the time they came off stage, anyone relying on public transport found all the services finished for the night.
Shame as I am a big fan (the Slash and Co. era anyway). Did hear that they were on their 40th band member, with Axl the only survivor from the beginning.

Appetite for Destruction is one of the all time best albums and Use your Illusion was pretty good Spaghetti Incident was slated and to be honest I didn't bother to even listen to it and then Chinese Democracy wasn't released until 15 years later and by then, most people had given up on them.

Saw them a few times way back..
First London gig with a band called faster pussycat in support. Sweaty and electric and bloody amazing.
Saw them again at Donnington after appetite for destruction had exploded.
Not so sure if axl still has the lungs but slash... whatever deal he made with the devil is working for him. He hardly looks any different
