Any members on here? Are they just a club formed to fish and organise comps? Do they have a code of conduct?

Never heard of a club called BCAC, just the annual competition?

BCAC = British Carp Angling Championship?

You'd have to see how many hormone users are getting away with it to know if they codes of ethics.

Yeah realise that now, only ask as I'd never heard of them but see they turned up on a local venue obviously for a comp but the fish were spawning heavily for all to see, expected them to cancel but no they insisted the comp go ahead.

Then the venue is at fault also,they should of said no and reschedule the competition

This is the same organisation that carried on fishing at Walthamstow a good few years back when fish were dying, fish bellied up were literally floating past anglers with rods in the water.

Between the organisers, anglers and venue owner, you would like to think someone would show some sense and cancel the even but people involved in competitive angling are not known for their moral compass!

Also what is all this foolishness with just closing down the area fish are spawning in? Seems like a token gesture to show the fish are cared about but obviously money is more of a priority than the fish.

Yes seen that as well just closing the bit they are spawning in, also reopening as soon as they've finished and no rest period for them to recover.
