Always pack mine securely then use royal
Mail signed for as well but I use them regardless when selling anything anyway

Anyone really. Personally I'd avoid royal mail for a couple of reasons. Firstly they are horrendously expensive,and second they lose or damage an awful amount of bits lately. The last 3 things I've sent with them have been either lost or damaged

The other issue with RM is unless you have the original receipt to prove purchase you'll get sweet FA back if the item is lost, regardless of service paid for.

Never had a prob with either RM or Parcelforce - as good as any other if you insure accordingly

I insure properly. Not the point though, you shouldn't need to worry about that. What's the point in sending stuff for it to get damaged or lost?

Personal view, don't use dpd, Hermes, (Evri), Yodel or Tufnell.
Strangely best I have found is Royal Mail

Agree with Nick - My Hermes absolutely no chance - they may as well be called My Thieves (esp at Xmas) - Evril = Evil etc
RM def the best - my local know me well and always put my pending parcels behind the counter for security and treat them as fragile goods - never had a problem

Royal Mail 2nd class signed for, safe and reliable.

Steer well clear of Evri (ex-Hermes). They are cheap for a reason, that being they are crewed by thieves, wastrels and skivers.

Lol - twas only pulling your leg - surprised you have had issues with RM - at least they've got a counter you can winge at rather than waiting 8hrs on hold with customer services based in mongolia . . .
