Hey all, hope your all well, does anyone have an idea what I'd get for my fox flatlighter with Sleep system and the extra thermal waterproof cover I brought separately??
Not sure what it would be worth , it's pretty much mint and literally been sleep in four times, I'm just finding it to heavy for me to lug about, so,was looking at the new solar beds with sleep system ( any views on this/these would be good to ) .
I have a dodgy back and need something that goes completely flat, but it has to be light as possible and have a sleep system.....
Any help appreciated

If you have the flatliter not the flatliner,the solar beds will weigh more than that.The Fox Duralite is very light for a sleepsystem but I found it quite hard to move about in.I now own the solar sp c tech bed with the Fortis Snugpak bag and love it but it's not the lightest set up

Really , weighs more, wow, really ?...it weighs a ton ...and I can't handle sleeping bags lol, lightness is key for me and being the equivalent to as hard a bed as poss.....cheers mate appreciated

The original flatLITER sleep system came out around 6-7 years ago and was very light.
There was a MK2 version a couple of years later which was also light.
The flatLINER sleep system replaced it and is much much heavier
The Duralite is the new equivalent to the flatLITER but it's smaller and the single legs at each end aren't as good.
IMO the Duralite weighs about the same as my original flatLITER.
Are you sure you haven't got a flatLINER? I can't see anyone having a 5+ year old sleep system that's only been used 4 times.

Yea I brought it before I moved to Cornwall and that was six years ago, crazy eh, just ain't been much since moving here, and am going for three days soon and just finding it sooooo heavy to lug about and to be fair not that comfy ....
I think I'll definitely go and have a look I think as this stuff I guess you really need to see them and try them

I know I'm desperately trying to get back into it, but can't be lugging this thing around tamar lake , it will kill me lol

What I don't get is how come all these chairs by fox etc literally weigh less than a can of beer , but the bed chairs weigh as much as my wife, lol....I picked up a chair in the shop the other day by fox, with one finger, I couldn't believe it , was over 200 quid mine you ,lol....

My mate fishes at Upper all the time..he says look at the Nash sleep system ,his is the lightest model..he also says you don't have to barrow far to be in with a chance of a fish or two,nor do you have to cast over the stock either..
Upper was my stomping ground,but not any more,too many people,too many new houses built ,so busier than it was ..

Cheers mate ill have a look ,
Have a mate coming down for a three nighter soon and was looking to go either tamar or hacche, but hacche is fully booked sadly as we fancied the idea of being exclusive and having a lake to ourselves, even though its pretty expensive.
