Any views on the new Fox Frontier Lite... looks like it could be a good option for the mobile angler!

Imo just buy the standard frontier and leave groundsheet/infil home when not needed, frontier pegs weight is crazy too and you only need half from whats in the pegs bag

Put a post up about this the other day on the Lightest Bivvy thread. Don't really think it's that light at 8Kg excl the groundsheet. There's plenty of lighter bivvies available. If I was in the market for a lightweight bivvy, I'd be looking at the Wychwood Compact Tactical @ 6Kg all in (with groundsheet, pegs, poles). You can even get an overwrap for it.

Yes 8kg, my tempest v2 brolly is only 5kg and is also 10,000 HH so wasn't sure if it would be worth the swap. The only thing about the tempest is the height is a bit lower than I'd like and no rear vents, but other than that it's been faultless for me.

The newer Tempest brolly 100 has 2 vents, is significantly cheaper, smaller pack down and lighter than the frontier light. That's my summer brilliant.

RRP is only £20 different, be interested to see the fox when in stock to compare as although heavier and smaller it may be better quality as trakker seems a bit hit and miss.

Yes mate, brolly 100 is a V2 brolly, with rear vents as standard. Everything the V1 Brolly should've been in the first place lol
