I know this has just come out but has anybody purchased this yet and can just give an initial impression. I currently use Hyrdo sink but due a re spool and debating to give TA SBX ago or go to the Hyrdo Sink Noir.
Fair play to them for putting the markers on, that was the best bit about the Korda Sub Braid. I haven't tried it yet, but no doubt will eventually.

Anything Lewis Read helped develop is going to be well thought out. He's shown me it a couple of times at the various shows and it's very heavy, it'll certainly be the next braid I use ( still have sub braid on reels with life in it )

I have seen they are now advertising the diameter as 0.34mm/0.49mm uncrushed so it's definitely thick so would imagine in sinks pretty well.....

Bumping this thread as I am considering some new braid - Any user feedback on this one?
Particularly in comparison to the Gardner Hydro Sink if possible.
Edit - I see that the OP is considering the noir. Personally I wouldn't bother - I got a spool and it had lumpy bits on the line in places and seemed to be lees than 600m. I contacted Gardner but they did not bother replying. It also didn't seem to perform better than the standard hydro sink for me.
I just had about 80 yards bitten off by a pike so thinking about going back to Hydro sink standard or trying the TA offering.

Loaded up last week, used at the weekend. Haven't used braid for about 15 years preferring fluoro. I was pleasantly surprised, it casts the same as fluoro, doesn't sink as instantly as flouro but once it does it's well out of the way. Mega strong, I had a decent fish go under some branches and just felt in control the entire time. It's very thick compared to the banana braid I have on my spod. I probably only got 200 yards on my ss3000 spools. I'm still adjusting but looking forward to using it when the weed gets up. Just to add, I fished a max of 12 wraps at the weekend had no trouble with twist or wind knots.

He really is the absolute best individual to have on board as a line consultant, actually knows what he's talking about with an in-depth knowledge of the construction know how, materials, applications etc. Soon as he joined TA he got heavily involved with SBX, no one I know whose used it has anything other than praised it and I know about 15 lads on it 2 renowned for being fussy lol

Well if he had any input on the ogx mono he needs a swift kick in the ********.It is the worst mono I have ever used,utter garbage

I'm enjoying using it, really supple, casts well, sinks well, brilliant stuff. email them and potentially send them some of the line?
He's a lovely guy and certain doesn't warrant a kick in the ********. spends most his time helping others mate

Really? I've spooled up with it and used it since it came out and I would say it is as good as the ESP synchro that I've used for years. Interested in your experience with it.

I can't send them any line as it went straight to a line recycling place,I just hope it gets recycled into something better than it was.I have never had a mono birds nest on a cast like braid can but ogx managed it
