Dear Ridgmonkey,

I recently bought your quad stove set up, as I type (minus eyebrows) my Tempest is smoldering and slowly dying down in peg 4 on my local day ticket.
Definitely a connection issue with the gas canister (that exploded and went through the mozie vent). Can I send my stove back to you for replacement or do I go back to the shop?

If the diver finds my bait boat can I exchange that for a replacement too?

Much Love.

Arrived today first class royal mail . When companies produce thousands of products something will always slip through quality control, but iv got to say their response was first class 👍

In general, I probably wouldn't send a tweet to Samsung praising them for replacing a telly that broke after two weeks.

Here's a radical idea, Just get the product right in the first place. People work hard, stick nearly 1.60 a litre in their van for fuel then get criticised for criticising something they work hard for and expect to work as advertised. Get your "consultants" to actually test the product rather than stick a filter on it for the 'gram. Run it over, spit on it, chuck it on the floor, get your Mrs to chuck perfume on it, make sure it actually works! Too often now companies are just using templates of stuff already in existence rather than getting something made from scratch. I'm amazed people actually spend £200 on Prologic alarms & receiver that are identical to Alibaba/Bobs Bits/MikesShedTackle and expect it to work differently.

You wouldn't go direct to Samsung neither, nor would you tweet their social media kiddy asking for a new telly, you'd take it back to Currys. You certainly wouldn't moan about the telly on a public FB post tagging the CEO of Samsung in the hope he might reply.

We're wellllllll past the experimental phase in carp angling. We know what works, the companies SHOULD know what works by now. We need to stop pretending they do this out of kindness and pull them up when the hard earned £1500 bivvy that you used 20 times and is sat stationary for 99% of it's life cannot handle a bloke putting it up in a slight drizzle.

I certainly wouldn't be saying "thanks mate" on a FB messenger post, I'd get rid and spend my money elsewhere.

It's almost as if they knew there was a fault already and didn't argue it

Wrong . I could have simply returned it to the shop , they would have simply exchanged it for me , and they may have just binned it . I work in a high volume precision environment , with any very minor fault reported strait back to us , as it should be , with extensive investigation as everything is in place to send out a perfect product . We are talking anything , including something just as minor as a smudge on the packet with the product being perfect 😊. I went strait to ridgemonkey for that reason .
Are you sure?
