Just a quick one , I'm after a new set of rods somewhat of an all rounder , got a budget of around 300-400 possibly more for the right set. Just after tested reviews and what's currently best for value on the market.

I have a pair of Harrison torrix custom 10' paid £460 from the tackle box along with a darenth valley 10' spod and marker rod all cork handled as well paid £60 I think for spod rod but tackle box is great their customer service is fantastic give tackle box a ring and ask them their advice

I agree. I bought a pair of 10ft shimano tx2's for a small, very overgrown lake I fish a now pretty much use them everywhere. Admittedly I'm not a big caster and feel much more comfortable fishing close in but you can still achieve a fair distance with them and they're just so nice to use and transport that I'll pick them over my 12fters nearly always.

Enything the tackle box do is imo brilliant value and very good, haven't seen these rods, but thay don't sell crap[

I've got some 10' 3.25 test freespirits which are great for anything out to about 80 yards past this its back to my 12' rods
